I would plant a lot more foliage and make those walls a lot taller. These guys are great at climbing. Direct sun in that current enclosure will result in a very tragic end. Anyway of getting large ferns and large shrubs in there?
Hi tortadise, we could get large ferns in the forest behind the house but I am not sure the species of fern.
Can you take photos of any wild plants you could take cuttings from. At this point I'm dying to say "just go dig up some plants from the jungle" but I don't know what the laws are in your country.
You could add peat, dead leaves, and sand to the soil, but mix it in all together to make the clay a better soil. Don't make it as layers.

It would be best, if this berm was worked into the clay, not just layer ontop. Will help plants grow deeper roots and add to the ground's ability to handle the rain.
I'd remove this plant in the very corner. Leave a space for the tortoise to walk along the wall or he will stomp the plant to death. May also use one's too close to the wall as a step to escape.

Is you mum or dad or anyone helping you with this enclosure?
We are testing how much peat we should put first, then we would add more plants. My grandpa and dad are also doing.
