Dear Natrah and everyone- I thought you might like to know that Zola is now quite famous in Leicester Prison!
Famous in a good way ,of course ! I have a friend who did something very stupid many years ago, and this has now come to light, and resulted in a prison sentence. He is fairly old, and may never get out - he is a very nice person, and very much likes Zola, so I am writing to him and sending photos of Zola each time. He puts them up on his wall, and other people see them and are very interested too . My friend was a teacher, and is giving one of the other people there -a Polish chap I will call B -English lessons. B is very interested in Zola too, and - for homework - has written a story about him ! I am going to send a photo of Zola for him, too, next time I write.
I think it is so lovely that Zola is giving interest and pleasure to people in such a grim place.
It was cold and wet for much of the day here, so Zola didn't get his walk, but he has been quite good, and we had a lovely long stroke this afternoon.
Lots of love to you, Natrah,Jacky, Angel Daisy and all our forum friends from Angie xxxxxxxxxxx and Zolaxxxxxxxx

Congratulations ! Life will no doubt be a bit easier now, as well as more fun ! I presume Edward will expect a lot more expeditions - or aren't you telling him?

I think so too!
I have to look into where I can take him in my university city (outside my grandmas garden 😅). I am not getting my own car yet though, since I don't find it necessary in my situation, living alone and close to everything, so I will borrow from relatives for now.

When I had driving lessons, many years ago, you had to learn something called double declutching, which I couldn't get the hang of at all. I don't think it's necessary in modern cars. I pretty much gave up trying, and then my life was too busy and complicated to try again later on. Fortunately Zola's dad is a very good driver.

I got a drivings licence that only allows me to drive automatic cars, since that is what I learned with and used for the test. So no double declutching for me!

Good evening everyone!

I'm a bit late today. Jacky has been out today but she hasn't been eating quite because I've had the temperature at 28 degrees Celsius in the enclosure so I shall to adjust it slightly. However when she did go out she did get some exercise and I found her looking like she was trying to clear leaves from the drain🤣! Other than that she's okay and I have to remember that she's nearly 90. She appears to be in a good condition in terms of appearance and health.

Edward's Servant well done on passing your driving test is that the first time round? I won't tell you how many tests I took but suffice to say that I decided to rely on public transport. Sue thankyou for the bird song recordings and I hope to back to Hadleigh Castle Country Park soon. I hope to have better weather for the butterflies and to see more birds. I did see Orange Tip butterflies on the cliffs yesterday but I also noticed a flock of starlings mobbing a crow.

Angie when are your injections and I hope you're okay. I know mentioned about Zola being well known in Leicester Prison but I think he's well known in Devon because so many people remember him! He must be rather famous on his walks and he's well known where he gets his radicchio and when you go for your injections.

Goodnight everyone

Natrah, Jacky and Angel Daisy

PS: Jacky and I say good morning and goodnight to everyone whilst I rub her shell. It's quite smooth but we also start but saying good morning and goodnight to Daisy. Jacky puts her paw on her picture and I rub her ornament. I can remember what each ridge on her shell felt like

Sapphire presented me with another present today. I found out by accident 😜 I always pick him up with my fingers and situate him with my hand to get a sturdy hold on his bottom shell to take him outside for the day. I'll leave the rest to your imagination 😁 it was a pretty big one 🤣 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩

Congratulations! I’d never heard of double declutching but Pete had. I’ve never driven an automatic car either!

Dear Natrah and everyone - we have had a rather frustrating day, as my "new" computer was supposed to be arriving, only it didn't do so, and so we were hanging around all day, and Zola didn't get his walk - and still it hasn't come. The seller didn't have the parcel tracked, so we are fairly helpless - who knows when it may turn up - if at all.My current computer is pretty old, and getting very slow (like me, in fact) and I do find it annoying at times.
Tomorrow we are going to Tavistock hospital for my next injections, at last - and I hope I shall be able to sort out why this appointment was delayed for so long ! It will be lovely not to have a headache for a while.
Zola had his now traditional stroke, anyway, and seemed to want to make a nest by my shoulder - he really enjoys this part of his day.
Love to everyone from Angie xxxxxxxxxx
and Zola xxxxxxxxx

Good evening everyone!

I just want to say good luck Angie and I hope you feel better soon. Jacky went out for a short while after lunch. She ate quite a bit today but when she woke up she started shoving and bashing like Dickie!

Goodnight everyone

Thanks Natrah -the injections weren't too bad, and I am back on the proper lists again now, I think. It was a lovely drive to Tavistock with the sun shining - but we spent some time calling at various pet shops trying to get mealworms, as the robin is taking loads away for his family, from Richard's hand- every time he goes out or stands near the kitchen window the robin sees him and makes sure he hurries out with the food ! We don't mind, though !

I'm glad you got your injections and they went well. It's fun to have a robin that loves you isn't it. Even though our robins aren't the same species they act the same way. Ours are a friendly bird that typically signify spring. I used to feed one French fries during my lunch. He always had a funny looking beak though so I finally got close enough to see what was wrong with it. It was a worm. That's when I found out our robins like their meat and potatoes lol like the rest of us here in the US.😊

Is Dickie reading the “want ads” looking for a new place to live? 🤣😂
Dear Dickie,

I can come and help you move some leaves from your drains wherever you are? Does George leave any presents and also Razberri, Dilly and Mr Fre how about you three (@Cathie G)?

Jacky

PS: It is cooler today and my lamp came on in the middle of the night.
