Good evening everyone!

It's been pretty miserable here and it's much colder so of course Jacky has spent most of the day sleeping. Angie that's awful about the sheep and I think there must have been a whole team of people rounding up those sheep. I feel sorry for the farmer and I hope the sheep can be found. Please let us know what happens. Sue are you getting any alerts? Edward I expect it's getting much colder in Finland. How much sunlight are you getting? Chef the neighbour says he's moving on the 28th November.

Goodnight everyone

Natrah, Jacky and Angel Daisy
The situation with the sunlight has changed, since we changed to winter time last week end. Now we get a bit more sunlight in the mornings, even though it is temporary. Today the sun rose at 7.45 and will set at 16.15. Last Saturday the sun rose at 8.30 and set at 17.31.

It has been warm the past week, but today will be a bit colder with a high of 5 C (41 F) and a low of -1 C (30,2 F). Overall, the winter is late here and there is still no sight of snow which is unusual.

Good evening everyone!

Angie that's very strange because I did notice the photo this morning before I went out but it looks like someone removed it by mistake. Yes of course it was Clarence the pheasant and not a peacock. He's a beautiful bird but have you ever seen him again?

I put Jacky under the basking lamp but she is only interested in sleeping now so I will move her to the pet carrier in the spare room at the weekend. Zola and Edward do you ever try to slow down at all. Sweet dreams Dickie and I know that Sherman is spending more of his time in the shed.

Goodnight everyone

Natrah, Jacky and Angel Daisy
Yes, I tried to slow down once already this year, but my servant kept digging me up for long drowning sessions daily. During these sessions I got hand fed my favourite food, dandelion flowers. When I got my appetite back, the special treatment unfortunately stopped. My servant claims, that there isn't any more dandelion flowers outdoors!

It has been very cold and windy - 40mph - and Zola only got a brief look at the sea. I had my hair cut this morning, and had to go out, but I really don't feel well today.
Love to all our friends from Angie and Zola xxxxxxxxxxx

Good evening everyone!

@The_Four_Toed_Edward yes that's similar to the UK although you would find our weather quite balmy (@zolasmum and @MoggyMad 🤣). Today has been warmer than yesterday and certainly a lot sunnier although we did have a few drops just as I was leaving the cafe.

Angie I hope you're okay maybe you're coming down with a cold. I hope you feel better soon so stay warm and keep hydrated. I still feel a bit stuffed up but the other day I had a funny stomach as well and I realised it was due to the apples that I'd been eating. They may have been slightly under ripe as I always have this problem when I eat fruit that's not quite ripe.

I'm glad that Zola got to look at the sea and Edward I'm sure your servant is doing her best to look for dandelions. Jacky says hello to everyone but she prefers to sleep most of the time.

Goodnight everyone

Good evening everyone!

I didn't have any pupils today because of half-term so I had to chance to cook dad's curry:

Dear Angie,

I hope you're okay and are feeling better.

Natrah
Hello Natrah - I am ok really, just feeling so tired all the time and a bit sorry for myself ! I am hoping this will improve - there's so much I ought to do, but everything takes so long because I'm so shaky and wobbly. Richard does a great deal, bless him, but there's a lot I need to do myself. Maybe the new headache stuff will help -it is going to take a while, though, in any case.
Zola had his stroke by the fire today, of course - I love the way he settles down so quickly - he often doesn't move at all, and I think would stay there all night - probably producing a present or two while he was there, to cheer me up.
Lots of love to you,Jacky,Angel Daisy, and all our forum friends from Angie and Zola xxxxxxxxxxx

Good evening everyone!

Sorry this is late but I have been reading about Jamaica Inn in my Haunted Inns book. It has two ghosts and as Angie said Daphne Du Maurier has made it the most famous inn in the world. Anyway one ghost is a sailor and one is a man in an old fashioned coat.

I hope you feel better soon Angie but don't do too much. I will be transferring Jacky to the pet carrier tomorrow as I start to prepare her fridge. She has been sleeping a lot more although she did stir whilst I was at work. Also I am able to say that on Halloween I heard things go bump in the night and I banged on the ceiling to let the neighbour know. I also recorded it in my noisy neighbour diary as: "things went bump in the night at 2.00 am on Halloween!"

Goodnight everyone

Good evening everyone!

I've just transferred Jacky from the enclosure to the pet carrier and I am also setting the fridge for hibernation. I will be monitoring the temperature in Jacky's room and seeing if she wakes up but I doubt that she will wake up.

I hope everyone's had a good day and that Angie is feeling better.

Natrah, Jacky and Angel Daisy

PS: I miss Jacky when she goes into hibernation especially with Daisy's anniversary around the corner but then I also look forward to seeing her next year

Some good news this morning - the robin came to Richard's hand 3 times and took one or two worms away each time - still very aggressive in his attitude to R, even though he is standing in the rain offering him these nice plump worms -very unfair ! R also saw a long-tailed t*t on one of our feeders - they are lovely little chaps, but never hang around long. Also, when he was taking Zola to the look-out point which is the best place for him to see the sea,he saw a wheat-ear for the first time, on the rocks close to the water !
I'm feeling a bit better now, thanks, Natrah, but awfully tired all the time.

Hope Jacky’s wind down is going ok. She’s a few weeks later than Dickie this year so I expect Dickie will wake earlier next year.

Dear Sue,

Jacky's been sleeping since Sunday. Yes I think Dickie woke up before Jacky this year. I am in Tomassi's celebrating my brother's 60th birthday (although he is not here). Below is a picture of Bingo Bingo:
