Good morning everyone!

We have no cold water so I'm hoping to avoid the 'drowning sessions '. Zola is worth your mum considering altering the dosage of her pills?

Dear Jacky - I wonder if your cold water is back yet - that must be a nuisance for Natrah. My mum wants to explain that she has to take one headache pill every day or they won't work - and even if they do eventually, it will still probably be several weeks yet. She has to fill in a special diary about any symptoms.
Also, she has had to stop the headache injections while she is on this pill, so the effects of them are wearing off before the new stuff starts working. If the new stuff doesn't work, she will be able to go back on the injections again - the skin on her head is permanently sore, and she would be very pleased if she didn't have to do so.
I had a very pleasant walk this afternoon on the breakwater - there were a few people around, who were all interested to see me - especially one little boy who said how much he loved me.
Then I had a rest and stroke from my mum when I got home.
I hope you are eating properly again, Jacky.

Good evening everyone!

We've had a busy weekend and now that term has ended Natrah is looking forward to more free time. It was a bit unfortunate that the water disappeared on the hottest day of the year but we are managing. Unfortunately I still had my drowning session albeit with Natrah continually testing the water temperature afterwards I was put outside and I didn't feel like breakfast because I wanted to relax. However after I walked away from my food bowl Natrah put it back in front of me and then she said "maybe the water was too cold so I'll just run you another one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Help!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway she started to run another bath and then came outside and found me nibbling so she decided to leave it. Thank goodness for that!!!! Edward how are you now? Do you still need your drowning sessions? How has your mum been been today Zola? Will she see the doctor again?

I'm still going to be poked tomorrow and Natrah needs to collect a blood test form for her underactive thyroid. She is not very pleased with having to chase the surgery up about this. Also I had a good dandelion lunch.

Hello Natrah and everyone else here!

Yes, I am still getting daily drowning session as there has been few insidents of gritty urates in my soaks! I made a huge mess yesterday in my bath by first pooping in the water and then scrambling, mixing everything up

Good afternoon everyone,

It has been warm, so I got out yesterday and today to get some sun in my outdoor enclousure. I have had some trouble pooping but always managed to poop to my soak. I got to try some melon today for my constipation. Luckily there hasn't been any tail scratching anymore.

My servant has been packing, we will be moving to the city where her university is for the semester. We move on the first of August and the semester will start in the end of August. All the apartments on campus are full so we had to find one from the private market. I am going to have my own balcony!

Dear Edward - you are going to have an exciting time - I hope you will be kind to your servant, as I think she will be under a lot of stress. What city are you moving to, and what is your servant going to be studying ?

The city we are moving to is a bit south from where we live currently. The city is called Jyväskylä and it is also a little bigger than the city we are currently living in. It is pretty much in the center of Finland and sometimes jokingly called the Athens of Finland because it is known as a hub for humanity studies.My servant is already familiar with the city since she has some relatives living there.

My servant is going to be studying cultural sciences, so unfortunately not related to tortoises. I don't know whether there is anything closely related to tortoises you could study here in Finland. At least you couldn't do much field work as there aren't any tortoises here in Finland

Very camouflaged Edward. Jacky was tested for this condition last and there are medicines so please tell your dear servant that you'll be okay.

Good evening everyone!

We arrived at the vet's early and we were both pleased to find that I was going to have the lady vet that knows us well. Anyway I kicked and shoved Natrah twice when I was being put back into the trolley. The first time was at home and the second was at the vet's. Natrah says I nearly went in head first!

Anyway whilst we were waiting this young dog was very well behaved until he saw a black cat. The two of them disagreed completely with each other! The checkup went well with the vet saying that I look good for my age and that I am well behaved. However I don't think I needed a blood test but I was given one anyway. We were told that the results of this will be out on Monday but anyway the vet told Natrah that I was good although I don't like needles (Zola your mum is so brave).

On the way back we got the bus to Benfleet Station and then I had my first ride on a train and it was very smooth. Natrah kept rubbing my shell and it was very soothing.

Dear Natrah - you were asking recently about what butterflies we had in our garden, and I'm sorry to say we have very few. I was reading yesterday about the drop in bat numbers, due to shortage of insect food, and I am amazed that the swallows are having a second brood,considering how little flying food is around for them. It is because of the poor spring we have had - perhaps conditions were a bit better round your way.

Hello Natrah -I hope your weather is better than ours - we have had heavy rain practically all day, and it is miserable for the little birds, and also for me, as it makes a loud noise on my conservatory roof. My mum is having a bad day today, getting used to her new pills, but she was cheered up by my dad taking a photo of the new swallows' nest in our carport (right next to the old one) and there was an adult swallow sitting on the nest, and a tuft of very fluffy white feather beside her, which might be a new baby ! It is very hard to take a good photo there, as the corner is very dark, so my dad has to just guess whether he has got the camera aimed right, then take a flash photo. He will go on trying every day - and of course if there are new babies, we shall hear them cheeping soon.
I do hope Jacky is well - and you, too, of course.
