Good evening everyone!

Did any of you get out today? I got to the Cliffs Pavilion for lunch and then I walked to St George's Church to sign for stewarding for the Piano section of the Southend Musical Festival. It was very windy out and there was a bit of rain as well. I am guessing that Zola probably didn't get out for his breakwater walk.

Jacky had a cooler soak today and I have the thermostat down a bit further. I shall stop soaks this week and gradually her out of the enclosure next week.

Good evening everyone!

I went for my flu & Covid jabs at lunchtime. I was going to walk round to the docs but thought better of it. A little while after getting home again it threw it down very heavily.
Later this afternoon Pete noticed Dickie had come out. He saw her in the border. We don’t know how long she had been out or whether she had been out during the downpour but she was a bit muddy so had to be bathed.
It’s so odd that she comes out in the bad weather & stays in during the nice few days we’ve had recently!

Good evening everyone!

I hope you're okay after those jabs Sue. After Friday's sleeplessness night with the upstairs I have been thinking about finding another flat to rent or at least seeing what's out there. I wanted to look to buy I think I will look at the rental market as well. I get on with al the neighbours but like other neighbours I suspect that the noise neighbours are drug dealers. Anyway I walked past a flat that was to let by my landlords estate agents and I can imagine Jacky in the garden. Unfortunately when I got home I couldn't find it on the computer but I will look again. Anyway it has been drier today but dreary.

Hello Natrah - tomorrow we go to Tavistock Hospital again, so my mum can go back on her inections. I don't know if it will be the 35 small ones all over her head or the different 2 very big ones at the back of her head this time. she is rather sad about it, as you can imagine, but maybe another treatment will be available soon that she could try. I am fine, and still getting my special stroking session from my mum by the fire each evening.It has been pretty wet here most of the day, and quite cold.

I know exactly how you feel Natrah.
I am having the same problem. That’s why I have been away so long.
It is a very long story but to shorten it I will just say…
The new neighbors are horrible.
Supposed to be a “single mom” with two kids. One who is ten and one who is 5.
Neither of them go to school and this lady doesn’t work. She has “visitors” constantly and my entire apartment smells of POT
(Marahuana ) sp
Needless to say when I got home today my house wreaked of this smell for hours and Squirt was acting funny. She seemed stoned? She didn’t run away from me like she always does she just let me pick her up and stared at me like she’d seen a ghost?
Sally being older just slept through the whole thing and Gary!?…. My sweet little Gary was found hanging UPSIDE DOWN off of his coconut!!
Maybe he thought it was the 60s again??
While funny it still is a serious situation.
I have talked to the new landlord and appealed to his house smelling so he would have to have it deep cleaned ($$$$$) and he is outraged. Unfortunately this lady is on a thing called section 8 and it is extremely hard to get rid of her and her “visitors” whom only come over to smoke pot , drink and stay up all nights keeping me awake. Weekends included!! And are worse!
I am at wits end .
I only wish I were closer to you so we could get a wonderful flat together and have a great big back yard!!!
I am a good cook and keep a very tidy place to name a few of my highlights..

I feel sorry for you all, and the kids?!? They don't deserve it. Is there anything you could do to help the kids?

Also, my mums neighbors smoke something too, well lets say it isn't tobacco. Seems like there isn't much that the landlord can do.

It’s a shame you feel you need to move. Surely it’s the the landlord who should remove them! I know you’ve been thinking of looking to buy for a while, sometimes something comes along to give us the push we need

They sound similar to my neighbours except that my flat doesn't always smell of pot! Here you can report them to the landlords and also to the council? Also have you tried the police? My next step could be the council but are you all okay. How's Gary?

Dear Natrah - your flower is lovely - I'm sure your pupils enjoy you being their teacher. When I had piano lessons as a child, it was with an eccentric elderly lady who kept her genuine stuffed dog under her piano stool.!!! I remember mowing her sloping lawn for her and being given rhubarb juice as a reward.
I had a painful day today - 35 injections in my head - my scalp is very sore. Zola must have got upset watching me -his dad was holding him under his coat, so he could look out from the collar - and Zola managed to do a large, watery , smelly present all down his front !
Tomorrow, I have to go for a half-hour medical check up at the local hospital. They asked me to bring a week of blood pressure readings if I could - so I've been trying, but both our blood pressure monitors seem to have stopped working properly !

But when she had laid 28 eggs on her own (infertile) … I quickly changed my mind!
What a headache that was!!
It took her somewhere like 2-4 months to have them all!
