Good evening everyone!

I know I've had trouble with the broadband but I've actually had trouble accessing this site anyway. I should be saving data but I love this site and my other forum. I should also be going to bed as I have my concert tomorrow but I love reading about Zola's adventures and strokes. I'm not sure whether Jacky ate today but she pressed her head against the enclosure door and she closed her eyes when I rubbed her❤️. Anyway long story but I had to cancel my pupils whilst an engineer came to look at my broadband. The result is that the fault is with a telegraph pole outside the flat so they have to come back.

Goodnight everyone

Good morning Natrah - what a nuisance about your broadband - I hope it gets fixed very quickly.
My mum and I will be thinking about you at your concert this evening, and hoping all goes well. It must be a wonderful experience to be part of a group with a single mind, as it were.
Don't laugh too loudly, but many years ago, my mum had a dream in which she was a drummer in a rock group, and she had that experience herself,in the dream, and she has never forgotten it !
Lots of love and best wishes for tonight from Zola xxxxxx

Dear Zola,
How are you today?
I’ve had many problems here across the pond and mom will not let me say what they are due to it being a long story.
I was wondering how your mama’s headaches are now after her injections?
How many times does she get injections?

Also, how was your concert today Natrah?
Did you play good for Motzart to be proud?

How is Edward? And his servant?

It’s a nice crisp day here in the states but we all can’t stop watching the news about Florida. The poor animals..and others…

Well I’m off to change out squirt (the turtles)
Tank as she has left a BUNCH of “presents” for my mom.
Boy for such a tiny little red eared slider she sure does STINK! 😷💩

Good evening everyone!

I asked for a dongle to help with the WiFi as it is a struggle for me to reply here. However I just want to tell you that I am not feeding Jacky anymore and that I am shortening her day. She was not very active anyway although she managed to do something in the soaking session 🤣!

Before the WiFi goes I hope you're all well and I shall keep Jacky warm especially for her birthday on Saturday and then I shall begin cool soaks and reduce the temperature even further. Look out for the comet

Goodnight everyone

We reach the coldest temperatures in January or February, below -30C but rarely under -35.

Edwards servant 😊❤️🐢
Dear Edwards servant - Zola's dad has just informed me that he is about to watch the football match between Finland and England - I won't be watching it myself, but I don't know who I should be supporting -I was born in Holland anyway, not England - I think I shall support Finland, because I want Edward to be my friend !!!

Dear Edwards servant - sorry about the football result ! Perhaps Edward will be my friend anyway ! !
It has been raining a lot today, so no walk on the breakwater for me - however, I had a lovely long stroke by the fire from my mum, so I didn't mind too much. She tells me what a kind and thoughtful tortoise I am, letting her stroke me for so long.
Love to you, to Natrah, Jacky and Angel Daisy, and my other tortoise friends from Zola (and Angie)

Good evening everyone!

Looks like I'm back I miss this site. Whilst broadband was gone I accidentally pressed something and had even more problems so I can gradually catch up. Jacky has been putting herself to bed early especially as I am altering her day length. I have been able to read Zola's adventures and I hope everyone is okay. Tomorrow I have my phone appointment with the GP so that I can start Statins.

Goodnight everyone

Dear Natrah - just to say that my mum and dad are both on statins (Atorvastatin) and have been for quite a while - it doesn't seem to cause them any problems. And I think you said your parents were taking them too.
I'm glad you are being sensible and looking after yourself, especially as Jacky will be unable to keep an eye on you.

Love from Zola xxxxxxxxxxx

Dear Natrah - it was cold and damp today, so again no walk for Zola. Still, he had my company in his room for a long time, and then a long stroke by the fire this afternoon. I think that all the stroking makes his shell extra smooth - still bumpy, but polished ! It is bumpy from when he was a baby, and something happened to make it split by his neck - we were told he might have been stepped on ! And of course the split grew longer over the years, but it has never been a problem to him - and he does love having a stroke -for a very long time.
I hope all is well with your internet now - and with you, of course. Love to you, Jacky, Angel Daisy, and all our forum friends from Angie and Zola xxxxxxxxxxx

Good evening everyone!

I will be collecting my new statins on Thursday with the rest of my medication. I will watch my diet but I would also like a treat every now and then. Mum and dad both took statins and in dad's case I remember the poor carer trying to get him to take his bedtime medication statins and donepezil (Alzheimer's). Dad said:

"I agree. You take one, I'll take the other"
"You first"!

Of course dad took his medication when I gave it to him but the poor carer looked stressed. It's been warmer here than yesterday but not exactly cheery. However like Angie and Zola I have been able to give Jacky and rub and yesterday I cradled her. I also rub Daisy's ornament and picture.

Don't forget to look out for the comet or the Northern Lights.

Goodnight everyone

Good evening everyone!

Natrah is writing this on my behalf as I had to go to bed early. I got up late for my pointless drowning session and then I just decided to have a laid back day. I spent most of the day sleeping and below is what Natrah came home to. Dickie what are you doing now? Sherman how about you? Apart from all this it's been a lovely day and Natrah it's a warm evening. Zola did you get your walk today.

Goodnight everyone

Hello Natrah - it has been horrible weather - not really cold, but feeling cold all the same, with fairly constant rain and mist all day. Zola got his stroke by the fire, and we were both warm then, but I am too big to fit under his lamp in his conservatory, so I have been feeling shivery all day. I'm sure you know enough about statins not to worry about taking them . I am trying cutting down on a couple of other things I have been taking for years, in the hope I will feel less wobbly. It's rather scary feeling I might fall over at any moment - even though I haven't had a fall for a couple of years now. I use a stick indoors quite a bit.
Love to you, Jacky, Angel Daisy and all our forum friends from Angie and Zola xxxxxxxxx
