so it means, if a baby sulcata doesnt get uv everyday, its still safe? I dont give them any calcium powder or other, i only gave them pellets that have vitamin b2,b6,b12,c, k3, b1, prebiotic,d calcium (<4,2%) and others, Is that fine? Everyday i always gave them pak choi/bok choy or greens in the morning and mix it with the pellets. Or should i just give them pellets 2x in a week?? Because i dont use any calcium powder or supplement. I only use pellets and Hydrobozz
try search “hydrobozz electrolyte & multivitamin for reptiles” on google, its like a supplement for reptiles, but it is only used when you want to soak the tortoise

Nobody over here has any experience with those products, so we really can't give specific experience based advice.

In general, pellets are good once or twice a week. The ingredients list on those pellets look okay to me.

Also, in general, a healthy tortoise should not need an electrolyte bath. Just Palin water is good.

Calcium supplementation is good once or twice a week, and not on the pellet days.

Tortoises store D3 in their fat cells and do not need to be exposed to UVB every day. They can go weeks with no sunshine at all, and be totally fine. Using a calcium supplement with D3 in it helps too.

Get some cheapest plain calcium carbonate tablets from the pharmacy or a cuttlefish bone from the petstore and use it as a calcium supplement. Overdoing with vitamins in pellets is possible so try to stick to the schedule Tom outlined above.

Pure calcium carbonate powder without D3 and other amendments. Should be available in any pet stores. Or calcium carbonate tables from human pharmacy store - crush them in powder and sprinkle over greens.

Yes, calcium powder and pellets are 1-2 times a week. It depends on what you feed and variety. If you have high-calcium foods available - mulberry or hibiscus leaves, kale or opuntia cactus pads, for example, then 1 time a week will be enough.

oh ok. But if i feed them the pellets twice a week and gave them calcium powder twice a week too is it safe? it means they get calcium 4 times a week. Because the pellets i use already have calcium in it

You need to add only a tiny pinch of calcium to low-calcium greens (like lettuce). And pellets are more like sauce/spices, not the main dish.

The pellets are a balanced meal in and of themselves. Calcium powder mixed into the greens on other days is a different thing.

I like the RepCal or ZooMed brands of calcium if you can get those over there.

Okay. Just to make sure again
Pellets are only given twice a week.
calcium powder mix greens are only given twice a week too.
is that correct? so in a week i can give them pellets(that has <4,2% calcium) and calcium powder And it will not cause bladder stone? or anything bad right.?
So lke at monday tuesday i give them pellets mix greens, and then at thursday and friday, i give them calcium powder mixed with bokchoy / caisim(mustard)?

I haven't noticed much of a price difference in any of the calcium supplelmetns. They are all pretty similar in price.

Calcium doesn't cause bladder stones. Bladder stones are the result of protein digestion by-products coupled with dehydration.

Twice a week pellets and twice a week calcium on the greens is a good weekly routine. I would alternate. Pellets, then greens, then greens with calcium, then pellets again, etc... This isn't critical. There are many ways to do this successfully.

Oh okay. Can u recomend me pellets ? Or the pellets i use are already good??
Nobody else in the world has those pellets available. We don't know if they are good or not.

Btw does the calcium needs to be powder? Because i found someone that sells Spray calcium.

About pellets, Can u recomend me pellets that are good for baby to adult tortoise? There is no problem with the pellets I am currently using, my sulcatas only excrete urates 2-3 times a week, and the texture is like toothpaste and they poop every day.

I would get calcium powder without vitamin D3, because pellets already contain some. Also, sunlight provides high enough UV all year round in your region.

Cuttlebone powder is okay. Also, you can get non crushed cuttlebone and leave it in the enclosure.

Calcium spray is, likely, just a powder dilluted with water so no real reason to get it.

As of pellets, I don't know what you can find locally... ZooMed Grassland, Hikari Mulberrific, Arcadia Optimized 52, Mazuri (Nutrazu) are good choices. You can look for something with similar ingredients and nutritional profile.
