How beautiful is this picture!!! 😍
The one on the church.
How was your show???
Good evening everyone!

How are you all and @Chefdenoel10 I know you'll be missing Gary? He was such a special little snail. I hope you're okay. I found one of your threads in the other pets section alongwith some replies by Edward's Servant. The concert went very well and it was performed by a string ensemble. Tomorrow I am going to a lunchtime concert here in Southend given by my friend Naoko and her husband Richard. They will be playing piano duets and they will probably take part in the concert on Saturday as well.

I wonder if Zola saw the sea and I wonder how the little robin is. It was cold here but also spring like and I noticed daffodils and snowdrops coming through. I could also here a very musical Blue Tit probably calling for a mate.

Sue how are you? I remember when I locked myself out of TT last 🤣.

Goodnight everyone

Hello Natrah - Zola did get to see the sea today - there were really long waves with lots of foam when they fell - it was pretty dramatic, but also very cold in the wind ! I watched from the car ! I'm not very good at standing up in a strong wind, and of course Richard was holding Zola,so I couldn't really grab him ! The robin took 2 worms at once from Richard's hand to fly away with to his lady friend this morning - maybe we shall see her soon.
Lots of love to all our forum friends from Angie and Zola xxxxxxxxxx

😅 yes it was hearing about your experience that reminded me of mine!
Been really cold here lately with the birds water bath freezing over every night. Nothing of any interest happening so I’m just reading for now 😊

Good evening everyone!

Sorry about all the photos but after enjoying a lunchtime recital given my friends I took a stroll down the pier. It was very cold but enjoyable I thought might like to see photos of the Turnstones at the end of the pier. I also thought of Richard feeding the robin when I heard a very musical one near my flat.

Goodnight everyone

Hello Natrah - one day maybe we will get to Southend - it looks an interesting place. I love watching Turnstones pottering about.
It was sunny this afternoon, so Zola went to his breakwater with his dad, and had a very long walk for the first time this year - he just didn't want to stop ! He met several very nice people there, who were amazed at his determination. He was very tired when he got home, and also very cold, but he warmed up during his long stroke by the fire with me.
The robin is coming regularly to Richard and taking worms away. I'm wondering if the swallows will make it to their nest in our carport this year - I find it amazing that they can travel so far keeping the memory of our scruffy little carport in their heads !
Love to you, Jacky and Angel Daisy, and to all our forum friends, from Angie and Zola xxxxxxxxx

I loooove the sun set pictures!
But the one where the pier falls into the Ocean reminds me of the movie “JAWS” when the two men go out at night with a steak in hopes to see the shark and the shark ends up pulling them and the pier they are on ….into the water!!!! 😱😱😱

Good evening everyone!

I know the scene you mean @Chefdenoel10 as I've seen Jaws many times. That was probably part of the pier that was destroyed in a fire in 1976. There have been a couple of other fires since then and some boats have crashed into the pier in the past. I hope you've been okay today as I know you are missing Gary.

I have this image of Zola clambering over the rocks and I hope he was able to see the sea again today but I don't if the weather was as dreary as ours! It was warmer today but it was also wet. However despite this I was able to Pistachio Cake at a cafe called Brew and Chew near one of my pupils:

Hello Natrah - the weather was very poor today, but we did go out, of course, with Zola, to look at the sea. There is going to be a lot of wind and rain in the next few days, too. Fortunately Zola was quite tired after yesterday's long walk, so he hasn't been too restless.
You do know a lot of nice cafes ! I haven't been in a cafe for years !

Me either Angie!
I would not even know if a cafe near me now a days????
They are all big restaurants and diners here.
It is extremely windy and cold with snow squalls here tonight.
I feel like the roof is coming in to give me a hug!!! 😳😧
One more day of work to put up with AMD then I am home this weekend to spend with my babies (Gary included)..😕
I think I might have to go out on Saturday to get a new cell phone???
Stinks!
Once I am safe in my warm house on a Friday I don’t like peeping out till Monday.
🤭🫣
Good night everyone and sweet dreams to all of Gary’s friends 😇❤️🐌- slurp

Good evening everyone!

I have never been to the US but I imagine big houses, shops and restaurants @Chefdenoel10. Our houses must look quite small in comparison especially when you see terraced houses.

Today has been more spring-like and I went into town to my favourite cafe where I enjoyed Grilled Salmon followed by Banana and Pecan Sundae. I then came and caught up with some admin as my Friday pupils are in Ghana. How has the robin been today Zola? The Blue **** have been very musical eventhough dad thought they were calling:

"You are stupid 😂!"

Zola wanted to go for another walk on the breakwater, I think, but it was raining ,cold and very windy, so he took out his frustration by rattling around his room, pooing all over the place ! I had to fetch his dad to help clear it up - his dad threatened to make him pay out of his pocket-money for all the paper towels he used up ! Then his dad lit the fire, and I lay back in the chair, holding the cross smelly little monster against my chest - I covered him with the front of the fleece I was wearing - and amazingly, within a couple of minutes he was perfectly quiet and calm ! So I held him and stroked him as usual, for nearly an hour, until I was summoned for supper and he had to go - quite calmly- back to his room. Sometimes I wish so much that I could explain things to him, so that he doesn't get into this frenzy of trashing his room when he is cross !
The robin comes to Richard for worms every day - more than once if he is doing something outside - and we are wondering when he will start taking more away to feed his lady friend on the nest !
Lots of love to you, Natrah, and to Jacky, Angel Daisy, and all our forum friends from Angiexxxxxxx and from smelly but calm little monster Zola xxxxxxxxxx

Zola managed to get a walk on his breakwater again today - it was still very cold, but sunny, and he was in a happy mood when he came back. When I was stroking him by the fire, he kept gently pushing his head against my chin, just under my lower lip, so I kind of pressed my jaw forward a bit in response. We had a game taking turns doing this for quite a while - this is an entirely new thing, and he really seemed to enjoy it! I was really delighted to have him playing with me like this ! !

Good evening everyone!

The weather here has been quite good up until 4.20 pm when I had to rescue the washing. Sue and Angie I hope it's been okay where you are. Chef I've heard something about bad weather in Kentucky. How is it where you are? Edward what about Finland?

Angie I thought of your robin yesterday because whilst I was waiting for a bus into Leigh I heard a late night singer at 7.00 pm! The concert that I saw was very good and it was given by the Southend Chamber Music Club. I was pleased to see that my friend Jenny was there. She lost her husband to COVID after a stay in hospital at the beginning of the year and I shall be going to his funeral on the 12th March.

Goodnight everyone

Natrah, Sleeping Beauty and Angel Daisy

PS: I have a mental image of Zola playing with Angie!

It has been very wet and windy here - cold, too -Zola didn't get a walk today, but he has been quite philosophical about it, as he could hear the rain on the roof of his conservatory. I gave him his usual stroke, but he didn't want to play our new game today. We did take him to look at the sea - no dramatic waves, but very frothy. The robin has been very brave, coming to Richard in all the wind and rain - I'm sure his lady friend will be impressed !
I'm glad you enjoyed the concert, but very sorry about your friend's husband. People seem to think that Covid is all over, but it really isn't, is it !

It is fairly warm here, about I C° with some rain. The snow is covered with a layer of ice and melting bit by bit

Edwards servant 😊❤️🐢
