Good evening everyone!

I have been suffering with hay-fever today. I hope you had a better night Angie I'm afraid I didn't have a great night on Friday either because of my hay-fever. Anyway it is cooler so Jacky hasn't been out but as you can see she's been busy.

I went out to the Cliffs Pavilion as usual and yesterday we celebrated my friend's birthday at the King's Restaurant with mainly fish meals and those wonderful desserts. I just want to tell you all that I booked my music holiday again and Jacky will go and stay with my friend once more. I need to book a checkup with the vets beforehand and she can look forward to my friend's vegetable patch once more.

Goodnight everyone

Natrah

PS: Those lambs look very cute Angie ❤️

Hello Natrah - we are going tomorrow to get some more radicchio for Zola - as you know, it's a long drive over the moor, but Richard will bring his long-distance camera, and hope to see some lambs. Then we have our Covid injections on Wednesday-then I am trying to get various things done before my cataract op in a couple of weeks- dentist, hair cut,etc -and a lot of tidying up too. I am a bit apprehensive about the op, but I am looking forward to it being over (and hopefully getting the other eye done soon after ) When will your music holiday be ?
Love to all from Angie and Zola xxxxxxxxxx

Good evening everyone!

I have had a tiring day thanks to another night of hay-fever. Does anyone else on here suffer from hay-fever? It doesn't do my anxiety issues any good. Did Zola get his radicchio today Angie? Please can we see more pictures of lambs.

Sue has Pete seen Sherman and Tank. How are they? Edward how are you? Do you have any exams coming up. My nephew has his A levels in the sciences and maths.

I will be going on holiday to Oxford on the 25th July until the 2nd August. Jacky leaves on 24th July and returns on the 3rd August.

Jacky wants to know if Dickie and Zola have bashed into objects and climbed mountains after soaking. I have explained that Zola has bashed around in his conservatory.

Goodnight everyone

Dear Jacky -Zola was very cross this afternoon, when we came back from getting his radicchio - he had been having a nice time on his mum's lap for ages, and didn't see why it needed to finish just because we had got home. He attacked various things in his conservatory - including his mum's feet - but in the end gave up and went to sleep under his light ! By the way, his conservatory has some new flowers - not to eat -several little mini-rose bushes - red, orange pink and white - and they are on a long shelf in front of a big window, outside which is a lovely blue periwinkle with lots of flowers, so they all look very pretty together!
Love to all from Angie xxxxxx and Zola xxxxxxxxxx

Hello Natrah I also suffer with hayfever but it’s not as bad as it was when I was younger. Tree pollen is affecting me at the moment & around us in the fields is that yellow oilseed rape which irritates my nose & gives me headaches. Pete is affected as well which doesn’t do his sinuses any good.
He hasn’t stopped blowing his nose since coming back from New Zealand.
The plane seemed to help his sinuses plus the air con as well.
Maybe that’s something that might help you?
I don’t need any medication now but years ago I was much worse & had to take antihistamines. Perhaps I’ve become desensitised to some pollen but now I do get some eczema mainly on my head, round my ears & some itchy areas between some fingers! Stress is definitely a trigger & it started during the last couple of weeks before my mum died & flares every so often.
Pete only saw Tank at the weekend as he was in his shed sorting out a new fire. Sherman isn’t anywhere close by!
Dickie does seem to get a spring in her step after a soak. She doesn’t usually go back in her enclosure afterwards as the routine is to let her go outside & start eating.
Jacky seems full of beans at the best of times!

Good evening everyone!

My hay-fever was better today. Yes I told Jacky about Sherman, Tank and Zola and she's very impressed with Zola's antics. Those flowers must be very pretty especially the Periwinkle and thankyou for the lovely photos of the lambs. I felt it was slightly cooler today so I kept Jacky in the enclosure where she was happy with her dandelions.

I've noticed more birds are nesting and a a sparrow tried to get in the neighbours Clematis! Hopefully the swallows will nest again Angie. I think you have your COVID boosters tomorrow so I hope you'll both be okay afterwards.

Best to get them over with before your operation Angie.

Goodnight everyone

Dear Natrah -Zola went out with us in the morning, but the weather wasn't too good, so he just had a brief look at the sea. Then this afternoon we left him in his conservatory, as we had to go for our Covid injections - we came back to an amazing amount of poo, all over the place ! By that time it was sunny and warm in there, so it had dried and stuck to everything ! Richard had to do all the cleaning up, as I am too shaky at present, and liable to fall into the mess ! Zola rarely does this sort of thing -I think he was just bored and cross ! He usually poos on the newspaper I put on the floor under my feet - which can easily be removed.
We forgave him,of course, and he had a long stroke by the fire with me later. (after a good wash)
There are bluet*ts and coal t*ts examining the nest box outside the kitchen window - and a hedgehog has been coming to check out the ground under the bird feeders at night.
I don't think I've mentioned that our rhodedendron at the front of the house has suddenly grown enormous
and is covered in bright red flowers -it looks very impressive - we have had it for years, and it never came to much before. It startles me whenever I open the front door !
I hope your hay fever settles down.

Dear Zola,

I was cross as well so I know how you feel. Natrah came back from work and put me to bed before going to rehearsal and she usually goes straight from work to rehearsal on a Wednesday. I didn't like this so I decided to get up again and now I am going back to bed!

Goodnight everyone

Jacky, Angel Daisy and Natrah

PS: We hope Angie and Richard feel better tomorrow.

Dickie also expressed her displeasure at being brought in from the garden this afternoon when we had a heavy downpour. Within a short time she had done the same as Zola & needed a bath! Pete then had to clean up the enclosure only for her then to do a big wee on the fresh paper! Once it stopped raining she went back outside with some dandelions but only for about an hour when it rained heavily again.
Pete was outside with an umbrella trying to find her which he did eventually. She had got completely under a ground covering plant & was well hidden. A soggy Pete & tortoise then came back indoors!
I hadn’t long been home from my job so was happy to let Pete deal with it all….after all I had to for 3 weeks whilst he was away 😆

Dear Natrah - it was cold and wet and windy today, so Zola didn't get his breakwater walk - however, he was very energetic climbing around in his room. I sat with him for a long time, and he had a bit of a go at attacking my feet. When it was time for his rest, I sat by the fire with him to give him a long stroke - but for the first time ever,he wouldn't settle ! He scrabbled all over me, and scratched me quite a bit - I got him quiet for ten minutes or so, then he was off again, scrabbling and scratching ! I called Richard to take him back in the end. I was worn out with it all, but thinking about it later, I realised that he hadn't tried to bite me at all ! So I was very grateful for his consideration and self-control -I know it may sound silly, but I felt he was kind of expressing his annoyance at not getting his walk, but trying not to overdo it !
Anyway, he is a dear little chap, despite everything.
Love to all from Angie xxxxxxxx

I forgot to say we definitely have the swallows back in our car-port, -judging by the number of presents they had left on our car -so we will have to cover it over every day. It is great to see them back - and really at least one must be from last year, otherwise surely they wouldn't home in on the carport so confidently !

Good evening everyone!

It sounds as though Zola and Dickie have been very busy what with Dickie being out in the rain and Zola making a mess. Angie I'm wondering if it was because Zola didn't go out yesterday as well. I hope you're both feeling okay after your boosters. It was bright and sunny here but not really warm enough for Jacky to go outside

I, myself, went to the Brew And Chew for lunch because my first pupil doesn't go back to school until next week. It must seem strange to start back a week later but she won a place at this school on a scholarship. Anyway I enjoyed Tiramisu Slump Cake very much.

I'm pleased the swallows are back Angie and I'm looking out for the bats. Dealing with the pensions is still on my mind and my next step is to look up my state pension contributions one thing I mustn't do is Google these before bedtime.

Goodnight everyone

Amen to that. Evenings are time to relax and recoup. And then sleep on it. All that rest helps you come to a good conclusion by the morning maybe but at least eventually.😊 If not today maybe tomorrow.🤗🙏

Good evening everyone!

It's been a fine day here but not really warm enough for Jacky to go out so she has been basking in her enclosure. Anyway I hope Angie and Richard are okay and that Zola and Dickie didn't make too much of a mess. Sue how is George these days?

Cathie how are Sapphire, Dilly and Mr Fre? Yes when I woke up I changed my mind for the time being about merging the private pensions. I can even hear mum saying don't put too many eggs in one basket. I also need to get on with other things including exam entries and cleaning 🤣🤣🤣.

Angie do you see the robin I have noticed a pair of them and some very musical Great ****? I also hear Blue **** and I can imagine all the asterisks here🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Goodnight everyone

Good evening again everyone!

I was chatting to the new neighbours who said that the previous neighbour owed £6500 in council tax bringing a total debt of £13500!
