Sterling is a new stray that arrived about a month ago. I had her spayed a couple weeks ago. . . well, I took HIM in to be neutered and the vet spayed her instead. She has two little tufts of hair under her tail that sure looked like little testicles to me. oh well. Anyway, she's about 6 or 7 months old and quite the active little kitten. It's been over 20 years since I've had a "kitten" here. All the strays that come here are full grown cats. I kept her in the house because of the stitches from her operation, and I got used to her and her antics and decided to keep her indoors. She's just got so much personality. All my throw rugs are in bunches and scrunched up. The stack of newspapers next to the wood stove is tipped over and spread around the floor. If I put her outside, I'm afraid her cute personality will be lost.
Sterling outside when she first showed up:
Next to the wood stove (Miss Innocent):
Looking to see what's interesting going on inside the fridge:
Helping me prepare the tortoise food:
"Did you get anything good at the store, Mom?"
Trying to find a way into the baby box turtle enclosure:
Her latest toy:
"Did I do that?"
Do you get the impression I sort of like this new kitten?
