I am a sucker for a redfoot in need and I am looking at picking up a housewarming gift for myself as I am moving into a house with ample space for me to have a herd (or several separate pens) of redfoots. (By herd I'm thinking maybe 5).

The owner sent me a couple of photos and it's hard for me to tell because of photo quality, but I am thinking that "Rambo" might be female. Opinions?
I'm asking for a more clear photo now.

Yay! Lady tortoise! It sounds like the current owner is taking decent care of her and is willing to hold her until we close on the house in a few weeks. I almost always keep original names on my 2nd hand pets, but Rambo might have to become a middle name.

He/She/It I was just curious if it made eggs. Trying to not have a sausage fest here.

Uh, beware...the more you get the more you want to keep. And you push it cause you care. But after that dire warning have fun and enjoy the process.

I think the hardest part will be the quarantine process, but we are getting a slight head start by having them dewormed before they come down. I'll probably do a fecal and make sure all is well when they get here too. I wish I was still a Vet assistant, it would be nice to be able to do preliminary xrays just to see what their insides look like.
