Good evening everyone!

I hope you've all had a good Xmas and Edward's Servant I'm pleased that you're feeling better but you need to keep relaxing. I've had a good Xmas but the best part was my friend managed to Google a photo that she took of Daisy about six years ago. The photo shows Daisy heading towards the Tortoise House to go to bed.

Goodnight everyone

Good morning everyone and @Chefdenoel10,

I want to explain what Jacky and Daisy used to do in and the picture of the Tortoise House. First of all Jacky managed to climb on the rubbish behind the Tortoise House and ground herself with all her legs flailing! I said to mum "Would you like to see the flying tortoise? Come and see the flying tortoise"

Jacky and Daisy would go into the Tortoise House with Jacky on the left and Daisy on the right and when they emerged from hibernation they would go back in each night as good as gold. However when the days got warmer Daisy would start to be more 'adventurous'🤣. I used to have to go looking for them just before dinner to make that I knew where they were and most of the time Jacky would be in or near the Tortoise House! However Daisy would be the flower bed beside the Tortoise House having bashed a hole in the wire fencing to protect the flower beds. Myself or dad would repair the hole only to find her in the same place the next night or she would be hidden in the ivy on top of the Tortoise House. Other times Daisy would be found under the rubbish (compost heap as we called it) after having walked to the otherside of the in order to gain access to it!

Sometimes you wouldn't be able to find her but you knew she was there. A couple of times she spent the whole night there because she was so well hidden. Other times when was found beside the Tortoise House Jacky was behind looking like she had been led astray 🤣🤣.

People who have never had tortoises as pets don't know what they're missing!

The otherside of the garden was where Daisy tried to get under the fence to go and visit the neighbours!

Goodnight everyone

Happy New Year Natrah and everyone - it is very windy here and I don't think there will be any fireworks - I just hope we won't get another power cut.
Love to all from Angie xxx

Dear Natrah - I'm very sorry I haven't replied sooner, but I've been having a few problems - persistent bad headache, broken tooth, and feling really shaky - and I sort of haven't managed to catch up with things properly at all. However, the dentist has sorted my tooth out - I was really worried, as it is a front one - and my headache is a bit better now. I might try ringing the hospital tomorrow, to make sure they haven't forgotten me !
I hope you've had a good time - I'm quite glad Christmas is over, really - too much to think about.
Zola is fine - we went to Bude to show him the lights, and he looked at the sea, of course - it's amazing how he stretches his neck out and turns his head from side to side - really interested in following the waves.
Richard's birthday is on 27 January (and Zola's half-birthday is on the same day, of course!)
Love to you, Sleeping Beauty and Angel Daisy from Angie xxxxxxx
