the weather has not been warm enough for Dickie to be outside for long so we have to ensure she eats when she is outside then she comes back in to warm up again. She trashes her enclosure twice a day, once before she goes out & again after she’s back in door & warmed up again! Has anyone else got a tortoise that won’t eat indoors?

Hello Natrah -it's lovely to see Jacky on her way out into the world again ! We have had a sunny day, and so Zola went for a walk on his breakwater, which he enjoyed very much - he was tired out when he got home, and was very keen to have his afternoon stroke with me - he moved himself into a favourite position on my chest, and just stayed there for nearly an hour, soaking up the warmth of the fire and the continual gentle stroking ( I try to vary it a bit, but he knows what he likes !) I really feel happy that I can give him something he loves in return for all that he gives me.
I forgot to mention that Zola has 2 pots of hyacinth bulbs in his room - they smell lovely - I see that Lidl is going to have pots of miniature daffodils soon, and I shall get a couple of those for him, too - all plants are well out of his reach, of course.

I hope you're all okay. There's been a cold wind here which got worse throughout the day. They say that it will be colder tomorrow but I noticed that our friends on Cold Dark Room have had some in the States so I hope @Chefdenoel10 is okay.
More Hyacinths are appearing now and I'm looking to the new orchid blossoming. Anyway I thought of Angie, Zola and Richard and their little robin on my way to rehearsal last night because when I walked past a group of trees I could hear two of them singing in the dark!
I hope Zola had a good stroke today and that Dickie, George and the budgies have been behaving themselves. I also hope that Edward and his servant are okay.
Sue is Pete away now and how are Sherman and Tank?

Dickie hasn’t been able to go out for long today & her food blew away within seconds. She did have a bit of cabbage in her mouth & a dandelion leaf! It’s a bit of a problem with her not eating indoors so I’m really hoping the weather warms up soon.
I have ordered a new bigger cage for the budgies which has arrived but needs putting together. I’ll then have to get some swings, more perches etc. I’m hoping Pete gets time to put it together before he goes on Sunday.
He isn’t going to the sanctuary now until he comes back. He does see Sherman out in his garden & he has fixed Tanks broken heater so he should be ok.
George hasn’t been himself although he has started eating again. He has very low B12 levels & is having weekly injections for a month. Of course all this happens just before Pete is going away. He will have him on his mind.
How is Jacky? Is she out of the carrier now?

Then this morning it was a balmy 65 at 6AM
AND BY 11AM IT WAS 33 degrees!!!!!
it SNOWED AT 12pm for about 5 HOURS but didn’t leave anything to shovel (Thank God!) and at 10:45pm (now) it is about
33 degrees still but feels like it’s in the 20’s with the wind!!!!
We all think we are going nutz over here!!!
