Hello Natrah - we have had a cold and dark sort of day - but, amazingly, there is still one beautiful rose bloom in our front garden - which is the side that gets most of the weather ! Zola has been a lovely kind boy to me today, and let me stroke him for an hour in the firelight this evening. He didn't go for a walk today, as it was really windy.
I was impressed by all the birds you saw last week - we have had a lot of starlings around, which come to the feeders and bully the other birds - also we had a hen in the garden - don't know where she came from -and a Peacock on our roof today !!
Zola has a lump of amythyst in his room too - such lovely stuff. He doesn't have a beautiful tablecloth, though !
I am still getting really shaky and head-achy, but I hope things will improve when my injections take more effect.
Love to you, Sleeping Beauty,Angel Daisy and all our forum friends from Angie xxxxxxxx and Zola xxxxxxxxx

Dear Natrah - it was sunny today, though quite windy, and I was able to have my walk on the breakwater - I was quite cold when I got back, but not now, as I had my traditional stroke by the fire with my mum. I hope all is well with you. Love to you,Sleeping Beauty, and Angel Daisy, and to all my forum friends from Zola xxxxxxxx

Good evening everyone!

Sue I haven't moved Jacky to the fridge yet but I have started to prepare it and regulate the temperature. Angie I'm sorry that you still have your headaches but are they any better since having the injections? I hope your shakiness is better today. I'm okay but I have invested in a new bed after all because I found that the frame of my current one is broken in places. I am not pleased with this as I have only had it for three years. Looking back I think that the sales assistant that sold it to me was just keen complete the last sale of the day. The bed was also giving me problems with my hips.

I broke off from typing but now I'm back and just noticed Angie and Zola's post. Anyway it was quiet here on Guy Fawkes but the fireworks on Saturday were very loud leading me to wonder what was happening before I realised they were fireworks. It's been cold and dull here however I predicted that it would be sunny further which is what Zola confirmed. I bet it's been cloudy where you are Sue and Edward have you had anymore snow.

Zola hasn't that peacock you mentioned visited before. The swallows must be in Africa now. The council was trimming the trees in our road today so I hope the birds and squirrels were okay. The bats are in the trees at the back so they're alright.

I better wash up now I still say goodnight and good morning to you all and I still rub Daisy's. I forgot to say that nana had some amethyst in her bookcase but it was smaller and I think it may have come from Cornwall when we holidayed in Newlyn.

Goodnight everyone

Edward have you had anymore snow
We haven't had anymore snow, and the snow has melted of the ground.

I am still sick with a cough and at at least some fever every day. Went to the doctors yesterday to get x-rays done and got diagnosed with pneumonia. The doctor thinks that the pnemonia was caused by mycoplasma, which is both a blessing and a curse. It has meant for me that I haven't been all that sick and tired as one would expect with pneumonia, but it will probably be a long while before I fully recover.

I'm very sorry to hear that, and I hope things will improve quickly. What a rotten time to be getting sick, when you must be very busy with all your course-work and starting a new part of your life in general.
Love and best wishes from Angie and Zola xxxxxxx

Yeah, it really hasn't been the best timing, since it was just when our periods were changing, new courses are starting and the deadlines of the old courses are getting close. But you can't choose these kinds of things. 🤷‍♀️

Good evening everyone!

I hope Edward's Servant is okay and that Angie and Richard are getting over their colds. I'm okay but I ended up getting the train into Rayleigh due to the buses letting me down again. The nurse that gave me a health check the other week would have been pleased to know that I got plenty of exercise walking from Rayleigh Station to Rayleigh Weir which is a good twenty minutes up a hill. Anyway I wanted to tell you that Jacky is still in the pet carrier and I can't help it but I give the back of her shell a quick rub every now and then because I miss giving her a cuddle. I bet Zola and Angie had a good cuddle and I bet Zola saw the sea.

Goodnight everyone

Goodnight Natrah -I did see the sea, but it was extremely grey and grim-looking.However, I got an especially lovely long cuddle from my mum by the fire this afternoon. I hope you will sleep well, with no noises outside Luckily there haven't been much firework noises around here. By the way, we have no idea where the peacock comes from - we did see it once before - at least, we think it must be the same one !

Hello Natrah - it has been a cold and gloomy day today, so I didn't have a walk - however, my dad made a lovely fire in the afternoon, and I had a very long and restful stroke from my mum, while sitting beside it. We both enjoyed it a lot. I hope you are well and have a peaceful evening.Love to you and all our forum friends from Zola xxxxxxx and Angie xxxxxxxxxx

Dickie is now in the garage in her hibernation box. Pete weighed her beforehand & she started to wake up but I’m sure she’s gone back to sleep again now. Snug as a bug in a rug. Her outside house has been cleaned out & will be covered with a tarpaulin to keep it dry.
We had some sunshine today but the last few days have been very grey. It’s around 8/9 degrees at night outside so no frosts yet.

Nite nite Dickie & Jacky see you both next year. Sweet dreams ❤❤️

Good evening everyone!

Sue your lucky we've had damp, dull and cold today and I am switching the heating on more often each day. Sweet dreams Dickie💤! Jacky is still in the pet carrier but it shouldn't be long before I put her in the fridge. Zola did get any sun and did you see the sea. I had lunch in Tomassi's and then on my way back I walked along the cliffs and took the photo below if Southend Cenotaph.

My grandmother used to tell us that the Germans would come up the Thames and we would shoot them down to stop them getting to London. This meant that Southend was badly hit and nana and no doubt mum who was born during the war were evacuated to Rayleigh.

Edward how is your servant today? I hope she's feeling a bit better and was able to talk to her dad.

Goodnight everyone

Dear Natrah - itwas a bit sunnier today, and Richard was able to take Zola on the breakwater - several people came up and said "Hello, Zola ! " to him. I'm glad that Zola chose himself such a memorable name when we first had him - it came into my mind when I wasn't really thinking about it,soon after he came to us, and I'm sure the little chap put it there himself !
Goodnight and love to all from Angie and Zola xxxxxxxxx

Good afternoon everyone and thankyou for the emoji's on 'Daisy's First Anniversary',

I am wearing the necklace with her initial today and I did remember the fallen and Daisy at 11.00 am. I still remember the vet fighting back tears and I shall remember her at 3.20 pm on Saturday. We've got lovely sunshine here and I expect Zola's been. I'm just a bit concerned about @Chefdenoel10 alongwith Sally, Squirt and GGGGGAAAARRRYYYY they haven't been on the forum for a while so I hope they're okay. I hope Edward's Servant is feeling better as well.

Keep safe

Natrah and Sleeping Beauty and of course Angel Daisy

PS: Thankyou @Alex and the Redfoot as well

Good evening everyone!

Yesterday whilst I was at the shop I came over a bit achy so I had paracetamol. I was then okay for a while but I kept shivering in bed so I got up to have one of my strefen lozenges as I wanted to make sure that my sinuses were clear. To be honest I didn't want to get out of bed but I needed some groceries and one of the pupils is doing his exam on Saturday so I did go out but I have cancelled tomorrow's pupils I want to get rid of this by Saturday because playing the Piano for my violin pupil's exam. My grade four pianist is doing his exam but I am trying to avoid his pushy parents. It's been a lovely day here so I expect Zola saw the sea.

Hope you're all well

Goodnight everyone

Dear Natrah - Strangely enough Zola didn't see the sea ! It was sunny but cold, so instead we all went for a drive through some of the lovely countryside round here - the trees were looking amazing with all the gold and red leaves still mostly on the branches. Then Zola had his long stroke by the fire this evening.
I'm very sorry you are feeling ill, and I hope it will go away quickly.
Lots of love to you,Angel Daisy and the wonderful Sleeeping Beauty from Angie and Zola xxxxxxxxxx

Good evening everyone!

I am not at orchestra and I cancelled the pupils. I also cancelled a couple of the pupils tomorrow because although I had a better night I am still under the weather. Sue is Sherman in the shed yet? I shall probably put Jacky in the fridge next week. It looked a beautiful day today but it was cold so I'm not sure if Zola saw the sea but he would have had a stroke with his mum.

Dear Natrah - I didn't have a walk again because it was too cold, but we had another drive to look at the scenery in the sunshine, and that was really nice - then I had my sit and stroke by the fire with my mum , which was lovely for us both.
We are very sorry you are feeling ill, and hope you are better soon. Lots of love from Zola xxxxxxxx and Angie xxxxxxxxx - and love too to Angel Daisy and Sleeping Beauty, and to all our forum friends
