Good evening everyone!

Angie I hope Harry settles into the care home very well. My perception of care homes changed totally when dad went into his. He was dancing, exercising, taking part in quizzes and of course I went in and played the violin. Dad also had a couple of female admirers! I also hope you two are okay after your injections. Have you heard about your other injections?

Sue and Edward how are you? Will you be breaking up for Easter soon Edward? I think I'm going to have quite a few days off over Easter because a lot of pupils are away? This will give me time to catch up with myself. Jacky has been waking up at 9.00 am and going to bed at 2.30 pm but otherwise she's okay.

Goodnight everyone

All ok here after a morning of clearing up! Dickie did a number of poos in her indoor enclosure & walked them all over the place. I gave her a bath to help wash her feet & once I’d put her down on the towel to dry off she left me another present! George decided to make use of his litter tray whilst i was busy with Dickie then jumped up on the kitchen worktop where i could see his little paw marks all over the place.
It’s been a sunny day today, a bit windy but ok for Dickie to go out, she couldn’t wait! Lots of dandelions about so she’s getting those daily as well.
I’m at work tomorrow so I hope madam doesn’t leave me the mess I had to deal with today ☺️

We have Easter break in our university from 12.4. to 21.4. I have never had such a long Easter break! Also, on top of that one of my lecture teachers is travelling for business, so I will have a few extra days off. On 11.4. I will be travelling to my home town with Edward, and probably staying at least until the 17th.

Edwards servant 😊 :<3: :tort:

Dear Natrah - it was quite comforting to read what you said about care homes - I am beginning to feel that Harry will be a lot happier once he is settled-he has been very much on his own for several years, and hasn't looked after himself properly at all (partly because of the money scam) At the previous care place where he stayed for a few weeks, they said they would miss him, because he is such a nice person - but they couldn't cope with his wandering off - at the new place, he is in a locked area, but will get supervised freedom too. He might well get a few female admirers too, like your dad, as he can be quite charming !
Love to you, Jacky, and Angel Daisy, and to all our forum friends from Angie and Zola xxxxxxxxxx

Dear Mr Fre, Silly and Razberri,

You might be interested in this as well.

Mr Fre and Razberri actually collaborate through the night and day... They're having an identity crisis from it.and sneaking each other's food though. 😭 Silly Dilly is just staying out of their way while tempting them.and enjoying it. It's a zoo here.😊

Hello Natrah - the covid injections were totally painless, both for Richard and myself but I have had an exceptionall bad headache ever since ! Richard is ok, though. I had a call this morning about my head injections, and finally have an appointment for the next ones, but not until the middle of May ! I gather there have been problems with illness - and the two nurses who do the injections are specially trained, so there isn't anyone else to do it. Still, at least I haven't been forgotten !
I hope all is well with you.Love to Jacky, Angel Daisy and yourself, of course, from Angie xxxxxxxxxx

Good morning everyone!

Just having coffee and tea cake after my fasting blood test for cholesterol. I'm glad you're both okay Angie and hopefully you'll hear about your injections soon. I am rather pleased with myself because I made a discovery about the pictures below. They had been in the family for years but mum told me they were painted by an Indonesian artist. However I decided to Google the artist and I found that he was Malaysian!! I was overjoyed because I lost a lot of stuff from Malaysia in storage and now I find I have another couple of souvenirs.

It's also filled in some parts of a puzzle because there was a third picture that was by a great aunt. However all three pictures I now know belonged to another aunt (Nana's sister) and she brought them back from her holiday in Singapore. The artist was based in Singapore which used to be part of Malaysia but he was born in Kuala Lumpur. Dad could have asked about the pictures but would have been none the wiser because the artist was born in 1925 and would have come into prominence when dad was either at boarding school or studying in Egypt. I assume that the white feather I found at bedtime was mum telling me how pleased she was.

Lovely pictures, Natrah, and I'm so very glad your mum responded.
Zola has been having walks on the breakwater whenever possible, followed by a long rest with me afterwards. Yesterday, Richard was talking to a couple there, and the man was very nice and interested, but the woman asked his name, and when Richard said Zola, she said "Oh, you would have to call him something fancy !" in a very scornful tone -Richard was quite upset, and so was I when he told me ! I can't remember if I told you that Zola chose his own name when we first got him - he made it come into my head, and it was obviously right for him (or her, as we didn't know then)......
There's Emil Zola the writer, Gianfranco Zola, the former wonderful Italian footballer, Zola Budd the former female runner -and we fairly recently discovered that Zola is the Swahili word for quietness ! So his name covers pretty well everything. I am convinced that our little boy put it into my mind, and I would have said something very rude to the sneery woman if I had been there on the breakwater !
Love to you, Jacky and Angel Daisy, and to all our our forum friends from Angie and Zola xxxxxxxxxx
