Feeling a bit fed up as I'm looking forward to seeing my cousin's but I've also had to watch TV with the subtitles on. Let's hope the drops start to work soon.

Goodnight everyone

I've got the pleasure of having ears syringed this week too 😔. Awful when you can't hear isn't it.?

Wow!!! I wouldn't mind buying that Sue! How has Dickie been today? I thought the weather had regressed a bit.

Natrah
She’s not eaten much if anything today as it’s been dull all day. We had to go out & didn’t think Dickie should go outside so left her in her indoor enclosure. Pete returned about 2 hours later & it looked like she had thrown a tantrum in there, just about everything was upside down, paper & poo all over the place. The only thing she couldn’t tip up was her water but it looked like she’d had a good try 😂
He relented & let her go outside where she found a plant to go under & had a snooze! She makes more mess than George who had gone upstairs out of the way 🤣

I was given a purse from China and they also brought three packs of Batik material for myself and my sister-in-laws.

Goodnight everyone

Dear Natrah -there were two swallows flying about in our carport this morning - the first this year ! They left some lovely presents on our car - possibly carried with them all the way from Africa !!!

Good evening everyone!

I just want to introduce you all to @pippin who has a little tortoise called Shelly. Shelly did fridge hibernation like Jacky and Edward's Servant also contributed to my Fridge Hibernation thread.

Jacky's had quite a busy day with a soak this morning during I had a pleasant surprise 🤣🤣. She then enjoyed being weighed before basking and eating. I didn't feel it was warm enough for her to go outside today but it was the first that she had a late-night snack at 6.30 pm. I bet Zola was receiving his stroke at that time.

Anyway my hearing is gradually improving ahead of my ear irrigation on Saturday. Pippin did you say that you're having yours done as well? I'm going to make sure that I have some hot soup afterwards.

Goodnight everyone

Good morning everyone!

My cousins are due at Heathrow at 5.30 pm this afternoon. The flight is at 9.30 pm and arrives in Kuala Lumpur at 10.30 am tomorrow. They will have then to travel back up to Ipoh.

Hello Natrah -Jacky looks lovely and rounded !
Richard has been struggling to plant up some bedding plants in the carport, with two very loud and indignant swallows swooping around in there. I wonder if they remember him from last year too,as well as being able to find our carport again. They don't seem a bit afraid of him, certainly - and he did rescue them last year when the nest fell apart! Anyway, we now have to cover the car whenever it is parked there !
By the way, I don't really rub Zola's shell -it's more of a gentle stroking like you might stroke a baby's head-ideally both sides of his shell at once - he usually positions himself for it !

Good evening everyone!

I have a mental picture of you stroking Zola Angie. Jacky does and Daisy did love their heads rubbed alongwith their shells. Jacky had her first helping of strawberry tops today and I shall always think of her having to wrestle her share from Daisy. Anyway I had sandwiches on the cliffs at lunchtime and I noticed that the council are allowing them to grow wild again. Therefore I was able to watch Orange Tip butterflies flying around.

When I got I started emailing my cousins now back in Malaysia and my brothers regarding dad's asset. Sue will understand why I felt a bit anxious doing this but I'm telling myself that I will do what is needed whilst carrying on with other things as well. Jacky, pupils and friends are a good distraction.

I must go now as Jacky is trying to say goodnight.

Goodnight everyone

Dickie has enjoyed being outside today & tonight she is in her kennel having put herself to bed about 5ish. It’s not too cold & we can see the temperature inside the kennel which is warmer.
Pete says Sherman managed to bend the 4inch long screws in a temporary gate Pete had put up to stop him getting into the pond area. They were either sheared off or bent from the force of him pushing against the wood. Shows how strong he is & how determined! He has now put a proper gate on so we’ll see how long it lasts 🤣
Hope the plans regarding your dads asset go smoothly & that contact with your brothers doesn’t stress you out too much.

Hello Natrah - Zola had a lovely long walk on the breakwater today, followed by a long stroke from me later - we are giving him a bit of extra attention, to make up for spending less time with him while the fence was being built - we both found that experience very stressful, and then there was a problem with the bill, as we were being charged a great deal more than we expected. Anyway, that's all sorted out now, and we can put it out of our minds, I hope.
Tomorrow I'm having my eyes tested, and also want to discuss the possibility of having a cataract removed - I am pretty scared of the idea, but I would very much like to be able to see better. I have worn contact lenses for many years, but even with them my vision is quite a lot worse now.
Richard has been planting out lots of bedding plants in our front garden, and it is already looking much more cheerful - and our swallows are definitely hear to stay!
I heard a skylark by the sea this morning - it was so lovely !
Lots of love to you, Jacky ,Angel Daisy and all our forum friends from Angie andZola xxxxxxxxxxxx

Good evening everyone!

Yes it was quite warm today so Jacky went out in the morning but she's got a bit too used to the temperature in her enclosure so I think I'll adjust it slightly. However it seems to be chilly this evening and I bet Zola enjoyed his stroke. I'd love to hear a skylark though and I imagine Zola enjoyed his walk. Good luck with your eye test Angie I seem to be okay with my glasses now and my hearing's okay as well.

Goodnight everyone

Natrah, Jacky and Angel Daisy

PS: Jacky has been like theirs no tomorrow and guess who's been clearing up after her🤣🤣!

Edwards servant 😊❤️🐢
Hello Edward,

I'm just wondering how long you are because you look slightly than Jacky. It's been even warmer here and Jacky has been out twice although yesterday evening was a bit chilly. I thought of Zola's robin when I brought the washing in but I want you all to know that I am looking out for the bats and Tiger Moths.

Goodnight everyone

Natrah, Jacky and Angel Daisy

PS: Angie how was your sight test?

Hello Natrah - I had my vision test, and am now on the waiting list for cataract surgery - the optician was very reassuring, and said it will help my balance and stop me falling so much -the waiting list is up to 6 months round here, but it is free - I thought I might have to pay for the operation. Just my right eye , which is worse, and then maybe the left eye in future.
Zola had a long walk today in the sunshine - strangely, there were no other peole at all on the breakwater, even though it was such a lovely day !
Love to you, Jacky, Angel Daisy, and all our forum friends from Angie and Zola xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
