I can’t possibly compete! I don’t bury mine though I’m proud of my achievements 
We have had a lot of robin families in our lives over the years, but only one or two where the babies have been tame enough to stand on a hand - that is a wonderful experience ! I once had a blackbird friend, who would appear as soon as she saw me, expecting sultanas and grated cheese. She was very bossy, but I loved her and she knew it !I'm glad you got your injections and they went well. It's fun to have a robin that loves you isn't it. Even though our robins aren't the same species they act the same way. Ours are a friendly bird that typically signify spring. I used to feed one French fries during my lunch. He always had a funny looking beak though so I finally got close enough to see what was wrong with it. It was a worm. That's when I found out our robins like their meat and potatoes lol like the rest of us here in the US.
I’ve seen that happen in my garden where a crow attacked a starling whilst other crows looked on. By the time I got outside they had gone but left the poor starling dying. I don’t think they intended to eat it. They do raid the nests of other birds though
Razberri hops down the bunny trail leaving an egg here and there. Mostly though they are deposited in her nest of Timothy hay. Mr Fre is really good about keeping his presents contained to his puppy pad and Dilly faithfully leaves his in his new Breeze litter box. So they are all pretty easy.

I got to see a Red Wing Blackbird today. I haven't seen one in years. We have a little wetlands area behind the mall here in town. I've seen a lot of unusual birds there and that's probably why. I got to go shopping today at the mail . You can also drive along the back way through it. I've seen birds there that aren't even native to my state. Or haven't been for many years like a white pelican and even sandpipers. Also this year I had 2 grackles in my backyard traveling back to Canada I believe. I guess I'm a bird watcher at heart.

I also order live mealworms during the spring. I know how Richard feels the first time I handled them! You get used to it though. I put mine into a plastic box so they’re not all piled on top of each other & to keep them going I’ve discovered they like wholemeal bread which is devoured in a day. I take a handful & put them in various places in the garden otherwise the starlings (&their babies now) will eat them all & the small birds don’t get a look in.
. However first of all I need to book a check up for her which I shall do some time this week and then I shall ask one of the neighbours to look after the flat.
