Zola have you seen this?Good afternoon everyone!
I have been keeping up with the replies and enjoy reading Zola's adventures. I imagine he's a lovely walk in the sunshine at the moment. Anyway Jacky hasn't eaten for two days so I am going to keep supplying her with spring greens and lettuce just to see if she will eat until they run out then I will just keep her warm and keep soaking her
Angie I'm pleased you're starting the injections again and hopefully you'll feel better. Anyway I had my health check yesterday and everything went well although I will need statins like dad. I have a telephone appointment about this and I believe that this is partly due to ethnicity because my weight is good. Blood pressure was also excellent but as dad's former carer I wondering what his response would have been to a nurse asking if he suffers from memory problems. Of course I said that my memory is okay but dad probably would have put on his best 'host' mode and maintained that he was fine! I remember my local dementia friend and a lady from the Alzheimer's Society advising me not to mention the 'A' word in front of dad! I can still remember when dad said that I was confused!
Anyway I ran into my brother and his partner on the way home and all we say now is 'hello'!
Keep safe

Hello Natrah - I had a long walk again with my dad, and Then he made a fire and I had an hour being stroked by my mum, sometimes sleeping a bit, but mostly resting with my head against her face - we both enoyed it a lot, and it helped her headache go away.
Tomorrow my mum and dad have to get their flu and Covid injections,so I shall be a bit late going anywhere, but perhaps we shall get to the sea anyway.
I hope you have a good day. Love to you, Jacky and Angel Daisy, and to all my forum friends from Zola and Angie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

No Dickie isn’t hibernating yet. She has been out the last 3 days for a little while so again we were able to give her a soak. She had a slow walk round yesterday then went back in her box. Today we were out but she was still out when we got back despite the drizzle.Good evening everyone!
Jacky has eaten again today but I will soon just put dandelions and grass in the enclosure. I think she ate today because I soaked but otherwise she's not eating as much as in the summer. Sadly I have thought of Daisy as well because I still occasionally think that she would be hibernating as well. Sue is Dickie hibernating now? Is Sherman in the shed?
I did have lunch at the Cliffs Pavilion and I must say that I could see the rain coming over towards Kent so I thought of Zola and his parents. I'm glad you're both okay after those injections Angie. Hope everyone else is okay. I might not be able to post so much this week because we have our concert this Saturday (see below). The following Saturday Jacky will be 89!
Goodnight everyone

Hello Natrah and everyone - we have had really bad weather today - yesterday too - so no walks on the breakwater - I don't know how to swim, and if a big wave washed over it, I would be in trouble - also it is really cold.Good afternoon everyone!
I hope you're all okay. I have no internet possibly due to router filters.
Natrah

I forgot to point out the lovely purple iridescence on his neck, which you can just see ! My dad just came across this photo he took of my mum feeding our lovely friendly pheasant, Clarence. My mum sort of rescued and protected him when he first turned up injured in our garden, and he really liked to be with her - especially when she had grated cheese in her bag !
Goodnight and love to all my friends from Zola and Angie xxxxxxxxxx
